To get into an electrician trade job, you’ll need to attend any trade or technical school program, which usually takes six months to four/five years. How much can you make in skilled electrician trade jobs? The median salary of electricians is nearly $60,000. 

  • Welders

If you want to work for big industries or corporations, being a welder is the option for you. Welders use different kinds of welding techniques and equipment to create new tools or parts with metal and repair them. 

You can work as a welder in prominent shipbuilding, real estate, and automotive industries. The only drawback of the welding profession is the work hazards because, at times, welders need to work in extreme heat and perilous situations.

You’ll need to spend six months to two years in trade or vocational school to become a welder, and the average earning of a welder is nearly $50,000. 

  • Roofers

Roofers are always in need in the USA, as people need to repair, upgrade and change their roofs more often. The roofing trade program usually takes eight months to a year to become a roofer. 

The average salary of a roof is approximately $48,000. 

  • Boilermaker

The primary responsibility of every boilermaker is to build and repair new boilers for various industries. Boilermakers also do welding sometimes. And they mainly work in shipbuilding and in manufacturing plants. 

Boilermaker’s jobs will pay you nearly $65,000 each year. 

  • Construction workers

Construction is a vast industry that entails many job opportunities such as tile installer, glazier, and equipment operator. How long does it take to become a construction worker? It varies based on position; generally, it takes two to four years to complete a trade program as a construction worker.

The salary of construction workers ranges from $45,000 to $75,000 per year. 

  • Carpenter

Carpenters are an integral part of the home building industry. Carpenters are experts at building and repairing things or materials made with wood. They mostly build wooden structures for houses, kitchen cabinets, and doors and window frames.

  • Ironworker

  • Plumber

Trade workers who are responsible for installing, repairing and inspecting the water and other wastage systems. They are also known as pipe fitter as this represents their primary task. 

These skilled trade workers make nearly $60,000/annually.

  • HVAC Technician

HVAC stands for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration. Trade workers who are adept at installing, repairing and maintaining HVAC systems are HVAC technicians. They earn between $45,000 to $50,000 per year on average.

  • Diesel Mechanics

There are millions of diesel-fueled vehicles running on the street. Moreover, diesel engines are used to power many machines, such as generators. Mechanics who work on diesel machines are known as diesel mechanics

They earn an average of $49,000 per year. 

  • Solar Photovoltaic Installer

People’s inclination towards solar is increasing daily to reduce the impact on the environment and electric bills. Household and industrial solar systems are installed, maintained, and repaired by solar photovoltaic installers.

Due to the spiked demand for solar systems, the demand for solar installers is about to burst in the coming years by 52%.
