Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate’s major job is to prepare, process, and transfer items in a productive, safe, and correct manner in accordance with specified production rates and norms. To meet business and operational demands, associates will be cross-trained to execute a range of roles in multiple departments.

 

At a glance, About the role

  • Receiving: Receive goods from partners, inspect shipments for accuracy and damage and correct any errors.
  • Stocking: Place newly arrived inventory in the proper areas of the warehouse.
  • Process Order: Picking, packaging, and staging are all things that need to be done. Pick things from clients’ orders with precision, pack items in bags, and prepare bags for delivery to couriers.
  • Warehouse management: Conduct inventory counts, clean and arrange the warehouse, control spoiling processes, and assist in any way necessary to provide a high-quality experience to our consumers.
  • Testing New Initiatives: Participate in the development and testing of new company concepts and initiatives.
  • Help improve operations: Contribute suggestions to help us enhance product quality and customers’ needs.

  • Successful track record in a warehouse, retail, or restaurant setting.
  • Stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 40 pounds with or without assistance, as well as operating a pallet jack and hand truck.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent in the GED program. A college diploma is an added plus.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Well-organized and know how to use Google Docs and Sheets.
